OPERATIONS MANAGER - TORONTO, Ontario | ONSITE
About the role
Brodie League is looking for an Operations Manager to streamline league operations. You will work directly with the Commissioner manager to implement management strategies, marketing tactics, consultative sales skills, and customer service to meet and exceed the performance goals. The Operations Manager will have an awareness of how to lead a team and drive higher sales in each location. They are responsible for assigned territories and overseeing the team as their direct point of contact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hire, train, coach, motivate, and develop league commissioners and creatives on company standards, procedures, product knowledge, and team/individual productivity goals.
Help grow the athlete base of each location through sales, superior customer service, and business partnerships & marketing to secure long term members.
Establish a fun and close location and community culture with events quarterly.
Foster an environment of continuous learning through personal behaviors, product demonstrations and peer-to-peer learning. Remain up to date with all new processes and implement them when needed.
Hold location and individual meetings on a needed basis
Hire, train, and manage Virtual Assistants at scale to support with league registration and social media posting

Increase memberships and product sales.
Inspire teamwork to achieve sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
Become a product expert.
Promote strong team engagement and encourage recognition.
Create incentives and rewards for teammates' superior performance.
Remain reachable and responsive via phone, as needed, to provide timely support and address any urgent matters that may arise outside of regular working hours.
Maintain an 80%+ retention of athletes season over season league wide.
Have low employee turnover.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of management experience
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to change and company growth.
Self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
Amazing attention to detail.
Team player attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
