ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF BRAND - TORONTO / nyc
Brodie League is growing at a legendary pace. Our community has exploded to 20,000 athletes across 20 locations in Canada, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas, and over 200,000 followers on social media.
As Director of Brand you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company as we continue to lead innovation in adult sports worldwide. You will be working directly with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) to build our creative systems and direct over 400 pieces of content per week, all while carving out a seat on the ground floor on one of the hottest brands in basketball. After 1-2 years in this role you will be set to grow internally in our Basketball division or in a new Brodie Business division.
As Director of Brand you will lead brand and storytelling operations to support league sign up, grow our social media and scale our content creation operations through systems, technology, and people. This is a full time role that will report to the COO in person in Toronto or New York City. Open to remote/hybrid applicants.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage team of videographers, editors, graphic designers, and photographers across 40 locations covering 900+ teams.
- Lead creative team driving social media growth and brand awareness with innovative content and stories to drive signups, engagement, and followers.
- Storyboard and facilitate content league wide about what it means to be a Brodie Athlete (Lifestyle, Vision, Identity).
- Idiate, update, and maintain creative assets for new league expansions, sign ups, special events, jersey designs, championship t shirts, and more.
RESULTS
- Grow Instagram to 100,000 followers and track/improve key performance indicators across league accounts.
- Create and deliver a world class systems to manage our creative workforce and their output across social platforms (Photographers and videographers).
- Find Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform to allow easier access of content for players and in house editors.
- Uphold company's standards across all public and internal Brodie League content.
- Quickly assimilate to company standards, and direction, to then begin hiring process for up to 3 direct reports by October of 2024.
